It’s a community-wide event that brings together youth and the organizations that serve them to inspire growth and impact.

Join us at this year's Berkeley County School District Family Engagement Summit on Saturday, Jan. 25!
Ignite Tech Youth is hosting Teens Teach Tech - A) Classroom Sessions: Safety Online and B) Exhibitor Space: Device Help. Local teens will serve as tech mentors to teach adults how to a) stay safe online and avoid the latest tech scams & b) provide 1-on-1 help with questions that you may have about using your smart phone, tablet, etc and assist you with navigating your device (even your new devices that you received as a gift during the holidays. )
What to Bring:
Participants are encouraged to bring their devices and questions. Bring your smartphone, tablet, or laptop for hands-on help and learn essential skills.

Ignite Tech Youth is hosting Teens Teach Tech - Cybersecurity & Device Help on Saturday, November 16, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at St. Stephen Middle School. Local teens are stepping up as tech mentors to teach adults and seniors how to stay safe online and avoid scams, especially during this holiday season.
What to Bring:
Participants are encouraged to bring their devices and questions. Bring your smartphone, tablet, or laptop for hands-on help and learn essential skills.
*No worries if you don't bring any devices, we will have demonstration devices onsite.
Event Highlights:
- Cybersecurity Training: Teens will lead an interactive, engaging class on recognizing and avoiding online scams, phishing, and other cybersecurity risks and ways to protect yourself online.
- Device Help: Participants will receive hands-on assistance with their own devices—smartphones, tablets, and laptops—as teens walk them through basic troubleshooting steps, focusing on both iOS and Android.
- Community Building: This event marks an opportunity for residents of North Berkeley County to connect across generations, fostering mutual understanding and confidence in navigating today’s digital landscape.
