What is the North Berkeley Youth & Community Summit?

 The North Berkeley Innovation Summit is where curiosity, creativity, and community collide. Designed for families, educators, students, seniors, and local leaders, this half-day experience brings the future to life through hands-on exploration, interactive demonstrations, and STEM + Art activities that unlock the power of innovation for every generation.

Event Details

 

The 2026 North Berkeley Innovation Summit is an immersive experience that empowers K–12 students in our rural communities through hands-on learning, open dialogue, and connections to future pathways like college, careers and leadership. It’s a community-wide event that brings together youth, families and the organizations that serve them to inspire growth and impact.

What to Expect

Get ready for an immersive half-day packed with:

  • Interactive Stations and Workshops: Dive into fun, hands-on sessions on a variety of topics such as new career exploration, mindset and emotional intelligence, leadership, self-care, technology, entrepreneurship, and more.
     
  •  Community STEM Awards Luncheon: Celebrating outstanding local students and teams who have excelled in STEM-related competitions and achievements.
     
  • FREE Adult Computer Basics Certification Class: Earn your certification at the event by completing a hands-on digital essentials computer skills training class. Advance registration is required; class size is limited to 15 participants.
     
  • Food, Prizes & Fun: Enjoy a welcoming atmosphere, energizing activities, and awesome giveaways.

The event is FREE and open to everyone. 


*Mandatory* Advance Registration is required to attend the Adult Computer Essentials Certification Training. ONLY 15 seats are available.  First Come, First Served.   


NOTE: If you know someone who would benefit from taking this training, please share the details and help them register online. 


In General: Everyone is asked to register prior to the event. Adults, you may register your student(s) on the same registration form that you complete.
